We began our adoption process in December 2006 with another larger agency.  After waiting for over a year and a half, with very little communication, we finally decided to leave.  We researched several agencies extensively, and felt Lighthouse Adoptions was the best fit for us.   Lorien at Lighthouse guided us through all the paperwork with ease, and was always available to answer any questions.  Such a breath of fresh air after our previous experience with our old agency.  We signed on with Lighthouse in August 2008, and brought our son home at the end of the year.  Our Gotcha Day was the day before Christmas Eve !  What a wonderful present!  We are so very thankful to Lorien and the team in Moscow for all that they did to bring our family together!

We were with another agency and it just didn't feel right.  I started to hear about so many families bringing home very healthy children relatively quickly, so I called Lorien at Lighthouse this past summer.  I was skeptical that we could have our baby girl home by the end of the year, but it just felt right moving to Lighthouse.  Our dossier went over in July and here we are, the end of November, home with our bundle of joy for the holidays!  Lorien helped us at every turn and made the process as easy as possible.  The in country team is wonderful as well.  We are so thrilled that we made the leap of faith to move to Lighthouse and now our family is complete!

Before Lighthouse Adoptions we had a long adoption journey elsewhere. Then a friend told us about LHA who also adopted through them. Lorien helped us with each step, staying in touch and even called us several times in Russia to touch base.  We are beyond thrilled and over the moon with our son Luke. We have gone from being a couple to a Family in just a short time with her help. No matter how many times the hour glass will turn we will always be grateful to Lorien and Lighthouse Adoptions.

Noah has been the biggest blessing I could ever imagine.  He keeps me laughing with his funny faces and growing sense of humor.  He went from a quiet little boy to little chatter box.  I love watching the many changes in his little life and can't imagine my life without him in it.  I am so thankful to Lorien for her hard work and dedication to helping families come together!  She and the team in Russia were a pleasure to work with and I am forever grateful!!

Nadia has been the most wonderful experience of our life's. We can not thank Lighthouse adoptions enough for helping us find our daughter.  She is such a happy , healthy baby and  she loves to learn and play. We look forward to every minute spent with her, she brought such a joy to our lives.

Liam and Sophie are a joy every day! They're unique personalities make every day interesting. Liam is never to be found without a car or truck in hand, and his clothes reflect this love (at his insistence!). We look forward to Sophie winning an Oscar someday, as her penchant for drama is unmatched! They are both funny little kids who entertain us and make us laugh every day!  Thank you Lorien and team for bringing us together and making our lives complete.
